Keep your hair, reduce scalp contrast
Density SMP places pigment between existing hairs to reduce how much scalp shows. It does not add strands or restore growth, so we assess coverage, parting and the length you plan to keep.

Density is different from new hair
If you are keeping longer hair, send photographs of the part, crown and thinning areas with the hair arranged as you normally wear it. We look at how much coverage remains and whether pigment may reduce scalp contrast. Women's SMP for thinning hair follows the same need for an individual assessment.
Tell us about future hair-transplant plans, ongoing hair loss or an existing scalp condition. SMP changes the appearance of the scalp; it does not treat the underlying cause of hair loss. If medical assessment is needed, complete that with a qualified clinician.
For existing pigment that is too dark or uneven, request a separate SMP correction review. Adding more pigment is not suitable for every case.
Use comparable result photosLook at hair length, lighting and whether an image shows a fresh or healed result. A shaved hairline photo does not show what density beneath longer hair will look like.

Can SMP help thinning hair without shaving it?
Suitable density treatments can reduce visible scalp beneath existing hair without a shaved style. It depends on the remaining coverage, hair length and pattern of loss. Explore density fill SMP and send photos for an assessment.
What photos should I send for a density assessment?
Include the crown, parting and other areas of thinning in natural light, with no hair fibers or concealers. Show the hair at your usual length. Tell us whether it is wet or dry so we can interpret scalp visibility appropriately.
How soon after a transplant can I get scar SMP?
Tell us the date and type of transplant. The scalp and scars need adequate healing, and your transplant clinician's guidance matters. We cannot confirm readiness from the calendar alone or assume a recent procedure is ready for SMP.
How much does SMP cost for Queens clients?
