We carefully evaluate previous SMP work and create a customized repair plan designed to improve balance, color, softness, and overall natural appearance. Each correction is tailored to the existing pigment, skin tone, and desired final result.

Can scalp micropigmentation be fixed if it looks bad?

Yes. Most poorly executed SMP work can be corrected. The approach depends on the issues present, which can include unnatural color, hard or unnatural hairlines, dots that are too large, uneven density, or pigment that has migrated. We assess each case individually and recommend the right combination of correction, lightening, and refinement.

How long does it take to repair botched scalp micropigmentation?

Most SMP repair cases take between two and four sessions, spaced several weeks apart. The exact timeline depends on the severity of the previous work and whether lightening treatments are needed before new pigment can be applied.

Do you offer SMP repair for clients outside of New York?

Yes. Many of our SMP repair clients travel to our Manhattan, New York studio from across the country and internationally. We help coordinate travel plans and scheduling so that sessions can be efficiently grouped during your visit.
